American Landscapes

  • Frauenthal Center for Performing Arts 425 West Western Avenue Muskegon, MI, 49440 United States (map)

If you're a fan of American music, there's nothing quite like experiencing a top-notch orchestra performing some of the country's most beloved compositions. In this season finale, you'll have the opportunity to listen to two of Copland's most majestic works - Fanfare for the Common Man and his third symphony.

The latter is particularly noteworthy, as it's widely regarded as one of the largest American symphonies ever written. Additionally, the performance will also feature Torke's Sky, a beautiful piece composed for violinist Tessa Lark that draws inspiration from her Kentucky Bluegrass roots.
